
The National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) is a fully independent and non-profit organization with the sole mission since its establishment in 1983 to evaluate diesel technician training programs against standards which have been developed by the US diesel industry and recommend those qualifying programs for certification (accreditation) by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence - the ASE.
